About Lisa

“I see dead people,” said a solemn Haley Joel Osment in The Sixth Sense.

But there will be none of that here.

I don’t see anybody, I hear them. And they’re not “dead people,” they’re Guides. Some may have been around before, and maybe you’ll know some of yours. But we give them the respect their knowledge and support deserves and call them Guides, not “former flesh suitcases.”

(They made me write that. Ok, no they didn’t. Guides don’t make you do anything except consider all your options and ask you to read the signs you might have been ignoring.)

My gift is clairaudience, which means I am able to “hear” your Guides and Teachers speak to me as if they are dictating a message for you to read.

I don’t do solemn, unless your cat died, and then I feel for you, honey. I’m a proud mama of two cats and a dog. They’re family. (And yes, there will be LOLcats sprinkled liberally throughout this blog. I admit it. I love me some LOLcats.)

I do practical woo. I’m a psych major – who has spent 28 years in the business world – turned intuitive. This makes me a grounded chick who does both Reiki and real life. So what you get from me is occasional irreverence, empathy, connection to your Guides, and practical intuitive guidance that you can use to make good, real-life decisions.

Because what’s the point of spiritual guidance without being guided to take action?

That’s just practically intuitive, yes?

Yes.

What do your Guides have to say to you? I’m here to help you connect with them, see the signs, and make the practical changes your biggest and best life requires. I use my strong intuitive skills to assist you in making those changes down here in the physical.

There aren’t a lot of rules to this thing, but if there is one, it is this: Our Guides always give us signs along the way. Or even just to reassure us when we need a little extra “something” to keep moving.

For example, when my cousin’s son was getting married, many in our family asked if his rainbow-loving sister Lauren, who had passed away three years prior, would be at the wedding.

I knew she would be (because she told me so – okay, yes, sometimes I hear dead people) and that she’d make sure we knew that she was there. She’d give us a sign. There are always signs.

Sure enough, at the reception, people suddenly started leaving the room to go outside – because there, in the sky, was something extraordinary. A double rainbow. (I think she was showing off her skills. She’s my girl.)

Education, training, yada yada yada

I’m clairaudient and an empath and always have been.

Same with my mother. She never made a fuss about her gift. She just “knew” things. Consistently. So if my mom said “I get one of my ‘vibes’ and I don’t think you should go outside,” I was definitely staying in that day. Mom was right almost all of the time.

(A mother who “just knew things” and was always right: imagine how much fun that was growing up.) No one in our family – including my mother – made a big fuss about what she could do. She just knew things, and that was that.

And that’s how it is for me, too. The people around me – skeptics and believers alike – accept that I have these certain kinds of knowings. They might not know how I know, but they know I know. (Got all that?)

What’s different for me, though, is that I’ve studied and developed my gift. I’ve studied with some amazing teachers:  Slade Roberson and Andrea Hess to name a few,  and I’m trained as a counselor (B.S. degree in Counseling Psychology).

This means that I help my clients connect with their Guides and then connect that spiritual advice to take practical action in their daily life.

I help people make practical changes.

What I do is intuitive, and practical.

Practically intuitive.

On a personal level, I am married to a most grounded man and am blessed to count two cats and a dog as my children, along with Lauren, my sweet angelic Goddaughter of Love (promoted to Angel in 2006) and a wonderfully joyful Godson of Love, Peter (born April 2010).
