I got a couple last minute reading requests tonight and the amounts pledged went over and above the requested donation so I am happy to announce:

A big, big THANK YOU to everyone who donated to the National Brain Tumor Society as part of Team David Cook. Of the many things I like about this young man, at the top of the list is his dedication to causes that have deep meaning for him, such as this one. There’s a lot one can do with fame and being able to use your “powers for good” (as they say) is a wonderful thing. David does that and his fans follow his lead and donate their time and energy not only to this cause, but to many others. I’m proud to stand up with them in this work.
